Park Focus – Dodwell Park, Warwickshire

Dodwell Park is a beautiful residential park, nestled into the heart of Shakespeare Country, just outside Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

Its location is just two miles south-west of Stratford and boasts an array of charming Cotswold villages nearby.

The park is well-established, with around 115 homes, and is popular for many reasons.  One key reason is its management, with it being a long-standing family-run business, spanning over 60 years.  The owners pride themselves on maintaining the park to a high standard, and redeveloping areas as required to keep the environment fresh.

At present, there are several new plots available, and a show home for viewing, although it is unlikely to be available for very long, as plots on this development tend to go quickly.

It is also a pet-friendly park, with dogs and cats welcome.  Other aspects of the park include a park manager, a bus stop and post box just outside the entrance, and a well-stocked shop which is very handy for your daily requirements.

It Locality

Residents love its overall location, which offers a tranquil rural setting with an abundance of local attractions.  Stratford-upon-Avon is rich in history being the birthplace of Shakespeare. Here you can see places such as Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, or simply wander along the town’s river, and enjoy their regular Sunday Craft Market.

Attractions locally include Warwick Castle, River Avon Cruises, Stratford Butterfly Farm, and Kenilworth Castle, plus an array of independent shops and local villages to explore while indulging in the many eating places available.
