Berkhamsted is just a couple of miles and provides a variety of amenties including supermarkets, shops, opticians, dentists, doctors, pharmacies and restaurants.  Hemel Hempstead is a 15-minute drive and is a larger town with further shops and facilities.  It also has a Hospital.

Getting around

The local buses make getting around the area easy, along with the local train station which takes you into London.  It is also close to the M1 and M25 motorways.
